Itinerary

The tour guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning to start your Egypt Desert Safari Tours. Alamein, which is on Egypt's North Coast and is about a 3-hour drive from Cairo, will be our first stop. We will stop for coffee breaks along the way, and you can take an educational tour of El Alamein.

On the El Alamein tour, we'll go to the World War II Museum, where you can find out more about the two key battles that happened there. You will learn in-depth information about the participating armies, the outcomes of the battles, and the shocking number of dead, wounded soldiers, and young people who have gone missing.

We'll also stop by the Commonwealth Cemetery, where you can honor the memory of those who have passed away and pay your respects to their loved ones. You will also have the chance to visit the Australian, Italian, and German memorial cemeteries as part of the Al Alamein tour.

After the Al Alamein tour, we'll take a two-hour drive to Marsa Matrouh, where we'll have a fantastic oriental lunch at a reputable restaurant. We'll then keep traveling until we reach Siwa Oasis. The tour guide will meet you after you've enjoyed your Egyptian breakfast at your hotel, and we'll begin your Egypt travel package with a visit to the old town of Shali in the heart of the city. You can wander around the ancient Shali mud-brick fortress, which once served as the hub of the Siwa Oasis, there. It is a fantastic location for photography and provides expansive views of the nearby oasis.

Transfer to the Alexander the Great Temple, also known as the Temple of the Oracle of Amun, which is Siwa's most important landmark. The temple became known as the Temple of Alexander the Great as a result of Alexander the Great's visit and oracular consultation to establish his paternity as the son of Greek Zeus (Amun Re in ancient Egyptian religion). During the 26th Dynasty B.C., the temple was built in the ancient settlement known as Aghurmi Village.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Eco-lodge before setting out on your Siwa Oasis Desert Safari. Visit the impressive archaeological site at the Great Siwa Mountain in Maraki Village to start off. Here, the first-ever human footprint from the distant past was uncovered. As we travel to the fossil area, explore the breathtaking dunes and see the Cambrian-era coral reefs that once existed there.

We will then travel to one of the Great Sand Sea's captivating locations, which is the third-largest sand accumulation in the world. Get ready for a thrilling Jeep Safari and a pit stop at a beautiful desert lake. Use this chance to swim with the amiable tilapia fish. Sandboarding will give you an adrenaline rush as you slide down the enormous sand dunes by adding wax to the board's bottom. Although it might not be as quick as snowboarding, it always promises to be fun. A must-do activity in Siwa for maximum relaxation is Bir Wahid, also known as number 1, where you can cleanse and rejuvenate after enjoying sandboarding in Siwa.

Have breakfast at the Eco-lodge to start the day, then go on a tour to see the rock-cut tombs at the Mountain of the Dead (Gabal El Mauta). Investigate the magnificent tombs that belonged to the Siwa Oasis's rulers during the 26th dynasty, including the tomb of SI Amon and the Crocodile Tomb. Despite the lack of evidence identifying the owner of this tomb, it became famous for its interior's remarkably well-preserved crocodile painting.

Visit the Bedouin Village of Abu Ali afterward to fully experience Bedouin culture. Enjoy the canyon-like mountains and the mesmerizing echo of your voice as it reverberates through the surrounding silence. Return to Siwa and stop at the renowned Dakrour Mountain. The Siwan people consider this mountain to be extremely important and celebrate the annual Tourism in Siwa Oasis (El Syaha) festival there on the first full moon in October. Enjoy a hot local beverage and take your own timelapse photos as you take in the captivating sight of yet another mesmerizing sunset at the enchanted Fitnas Island. After that, a transfer will take you back to the city so you can spend the night in your eco-lodge.

Following breakfast, we'll take a bus from Siwa to Cairo, where you'll book a room for the night before the following morning's tour of the Bahariya Oasis.

From Cairo, we will depart early in the morning for Bahariya Oasis is situated in the governorate of Giza and covers an area of approximately 2,000 square kilometers (770 square miles).
